In order to use Profile Manager, there must be at least one existing profile to manage. Now you should be able to invoke Firefox as firefox -p or as firefox -profilemanager, and get the Profile Manager screen that will let you create, rename, and remove profiles. Once it has done that and you get the default Firefox landing screen, exit. It should run, and in the process create the needed stuff under %APPDATA% incluing a default profile. Uninstall and reinstall a fresh copy of Firefox if you haven't already. Press OK and your Firefox profile should be recovered. If you're using Firefox to read this right now, launch Internet Explorer, Edge, or Chrome, then copy this URL and paste it into the other browser. IMPORTANT: close Firefox right now if it's open, otherwise the Profile Manager won't work. If there are, launch the profile manager again, click on New and when the option is given, browse the folder for the pre-existing profile (here navigate to the profile you just discovered earlier). If you delete the entire Mozilla folder under %APPDATA%, you remove any Firefox created profiles, and the ini file that tells Firefox where to find them. Library > Application Support > Firefox Check if there are any valid Firefox profiles present. Profiles known to Firefox are listed in the profiles.ini file, which lives in C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\
